#17 Something random.
I'm a bit of a strange person as you all might have realised, but my mind works in mysterious ways and this month, I have been working on social engineering. More specifically, giving someone a blank out moment. A moment where nothing makes sense and they find it hard to make any kind of reaction.
This is suprisingly simple and I have been practising it a lot. All you have to do, at any point of a conversation, or even better, when there's no conversation, say something completely random as if it were a question. For example, my wife asked,
"Have you taken out the trash?"
I replied quite calmly,
"14?"
and walked away. It took her 20 mins to come find me playing on ET.
Now, you can do this with anything not remotely related to anything at hand. My friend has taken this method of "hit-and-run" social confusion to heart and when a sales person or teller asks him a question, he generally replies "pink?" and counts the time it takes for people to react.
You'd be surprised how far it goes. It works to nearly anyone and you can be caught off guard! My four year old walked in on me play ET one day and got my attention my nagging etc.
I say, "What is it?"
Smooth as hell she says,
"Brine?"
and walked away. I sat there for a minute, then died with laughter... She got me...

Your mind is a weapon. Keep it clean, clear and loaded...
