Anyone can do it fairly easy. But I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT!SierraMist wrote:its not burping its sucking in the air using your diaphragm
making that burping sound, or more the pig squeal, low-pitched sound... supposedly.
i could do it too but i wont be believed xD
It puts way to much stress on your larynx and it forces them to move in the opposite direction that nature created them to.
Death growl can be dangerous if you don't know how to actually do it so again... Do such at your own stupidity. Lot of people with great talent have ruined their voices trying to do this without knowing how.
With that being said, some tunez!
Five Finger Death Punch - Meet the Monster.

Trivium - Like light to the flies

Dimmu Borgir - Puritania

Just a few of my personal faves.

Nice, Nouc!! I had no idea we had all these headbangin' mofos up in here. \m/\m/ I've known about Dimmu Borgir for years, but I think this is the first time I've ever actually heard their music. It's...Filthy. Cradly Filthy. :D And Fear Factory in the guitars, and that ain't a bad thing. Ooh! Speaking of Fear Factory, here's a fun video that's not of Fear Factory. Pen mic ftw!

Hey really like that last Dommu vid Nouc.. New to me
Another good edition for my car playlist..
I like it when experimental styles work well..
and finally OMH gets serious with Meshuggah!!
Wasn't expecting this thread to get this funny..
That cemetry rapist vid OMH is beyond funny..
Sounds like my bath water going down the plug hole..
and the intro? porngrind? rofl..

I once sung 8 slipknot songs in a row growling and done lost my voice for a week. Tell ya what, i'll never do that again! Didn't see anything but I tasted blood >.<
Here are a few other personal faves.
Another Dimmu Borgir - Hybrid Stigmata

Lose them braincells and enjoy every last one lost!
Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings

Kalmah - Swamphell

Dum kids with no life experience talkin about abusing babies is not cool
with me. Not trying to crash your thread but that kind of stuff is out of order. They need to get clued up - Even if they growl it out in some monotone and don't speak the words clearly, it's the fact that they are promoting lyrics like that..

Sorry but I'm sure I speak for most people here.. no more..
Keep some basic standards buddy..
Apart from that some good posts up here so far.. Cheers all

While I am no fan of censorship, I can't argue with ya on this one, Acid. I edited that post. ;) And I leave this video as an apology for my indirect effrontery. Here is proof that even when hideous and horrible things (like this video) are created, good things can still happen...AcidStorm wrote:Keep some basic standards buddy..

(I'm getting tired of running into that "Embedding disabled" stuff. The record companies want us to go to that page so we can what, read their copyright notice?

Another Dimmu Borgir - Hybrid Stigmata: Most YouTube videos aren't loud enough IMO. As a result, my computer is usually maxed on volume. But, when I clicked on this, with earbuds firmly jammed in my fat head...yeah. Scared me shitless and exploded my eardrums. YES!NoucFeanor wrote:that would be a way to end a show; lose an eye! Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings: Dammit! You posted like the ONE viking metal band I can't really make fun of!! Hey, is that Kevin Nash on vocals? Also kinda looks like what might happen to Hetfield if he snapped. You know, one last argument with Lars? It's the last (shortest?) straw and he snaps, kicking the shit out of the others, leaving Metallica, climbing a mountain and living in a cave for a while, like Mr. Garrison when he discovered he was gay, and Hetfield would discover that he is really a smelly old viking. Then he'd trudge down the mountain, unshowered for months, taking a private jet to Sweden where he jumps out of the plane just before it slams into a mountain, lands on a snowy side street in a cold Swedish neighborhood, hearing singing about fjords and plundering in the distance, and knows he is HOME.
Kalmah - Swamphell: First time hearing them. So is it Black Metal simply because of the extensive use of keyboards? I was trying to imagine this without the keyboards and couldn't tag it, either. I guess I'm kinda ig'nert about such things.
I'm not a HUGE metal fan, but 95% of everyone named I've either heard of, listened to with my rocker friends, or have listened to on my own without purchasing or d/l their entire album, just certain songs I've heard or half of their albums. Either way here is a little contribution. Currently listening to them and have 2 of their albums. They could be considered a christian band, but from what I can hear only 1-2 songs on each album talk anything about religion. Whatev, the shit beats.

Your mind is a weapon. Keep it clean, clear and loaded...
ICan, thanks for your "offering".
Composure: A heavy message of hope and recovery. +1,000,000
Truth of a Liar: This is just an "Atheists are idiots and are going to burn in hell" message. -1,000,000. But it definitely rocks!
And I'll toss a pretty good Christian metal tune in here to show I do not discriminate. Another message of triumph over addiction.
DISCIPLE - BACK AGAIN

And I was GOING to include Stryper, but I just...couldn't. So let's check out Vengeance Rising's front man Pastor Roger Martinez...who has since turned his back on it all in favor of...Satanism?
"A full-on rippin' jam. A jam's a jam, you know?"
(Whoever made this vid cut out all the bits of the really lame video they did. Booo!)
