New ET Rule - Roles

Was thinking about the new role rule and there is quite a disadvantage when using this rule if you are one player down. Does it make sense for the team with less players to be subject to this rule? Anyway not sure what the solution is but it makes it a lot harder when you are down one player and limed by the role rule.
