Website Issues.

Post by cmustard » Sat May 07, 2011 3:14 pm

For a few days now I have to turn off my firewall to visit site....I didnt have to before....
I have also noticed topics in forum going missing or leading to a 404 page.
Also, if i try to update more than 1 piece of information at a time in my profile I get a page that says "you have comitted a chain attack on this site" or something along those lines & then i get IP banned and have to reset router. :wall:

Just thought i'd tell you guys.

Make sure your machine is not infected with the "pamNet.A Trojan", which uses zombie machines to infect targets with multiple harmful packages.

Then again, Zeus mentioned elsewhere of a spot of trouble at the BBA Server Farm, where a reset had to be done, and some posts lost. This might be an expression of those glitches, but I have not had such experiences.

Or maybe your system is sending malformed packets, raising the hackles of the guard dawgs, who are now howling back at you, "get off, stay away!"

"Turn off the firewall" doesn't sound good at all.

I will look into this, but firewall issue still remains where it wasn't before.

*Edit* Read Krispy Post Properly :)

Does that mean that something is trying to establish a Remote Procedure Call to your system?
