Buffalo Bad Asses

I was wanting to run this by Zeus but i keep forgetting so im just going to post it, Zeus a week or so back asked me if i knew any good bot names and I kinda suggested to him what im proposing here in this post ,

I have a few bot names I like

:Talon
:Thorn
:Ravin
:Zero

just a few of the names i've used in a past before becoming RipSix

the other thing im talking about would be something zeus would have to work out but basically the top 10 players ranked on splatterladder would be awarded with the honor of having a bot on the server, not anything they control or any kinda mess like that , more of for instance

:M13

would have a bot called

:CoCKbOt

and

:Zeus

would have a bot called

:ZeusBot

no clan tags or match in color less Zeus wanted to go to all that trouble

and don't need to be all skilled etc. they would just be a kind of trophy a prize a shinny thing that says yah i rock and you know it course there is a bot named after me,, hahaha

i've actually talked to a few of the current top 10 players (3 of them) and they like the idea,


anyways its just a thought, i think it would increase traffic in the server and make a better goal then just being ranked high on the splatter ladder wich right now seems kind of an empty goal,, like wahoo i got number 27 or even number 1 it all cool and that to be high ranked but whats the payoff the every one knows i rock symbol that plays this server ,,

even if it was just a trial run of this i would play allot more

That's a neat idea. Although perhaps a bit confusing for the player actually playing against their own names? Even with the BOT tag? I don't know.

First thing I thought of was to name all the bots after bots on Futurama. There are lots! Here's a list of many of them:

I like the idea of top ten players, but what if they started to decrease there score? I mean lets say if one of the top 10 players left the game for a year. Unless, its a permant trophy then I say go for it. Also, when the player comes back from his year off the game he would remember the good times he had...I like flashbacks. By the way, OMH I would say humorbot and I think its Crazy Eddy (bender cousin from prison?) that are my favorite from that list of names.

Yeah, if the name colors don't match, and you put 'bot' after their name that could be fun.

Not sure about Crazy Eddy, but Malfunctioning Eddy is a robot that runs a hovercar dealership. It turned out that his prices were so low that he really was insane. He had an exploding problem associated with surprise in Insane in the Mainframe. His character refers to the real life Crazy Eddie, whose prices were also insane and who was convicted of fraud.

EDIT: But to stay on RipSix's original idea, the more I think about it, the more I like it and the less my idea makes good (any) sense.

Lets hope Zeus likes the idea too, in any case its just an idea on

After a good talk with Zeus its pretty much a given that the Have a Bot name isn't a time worthy prospect, for very good reasons im letting the few of you that have posted to this as well as the readers that the idea is dead and wont be pursued further, thanks for the support from those that did try to back it, have fun a good gaming buds!
