Punkbuster Problem NEED HELP!!!!

aaaah ok, well i got an idea, no nvm, prolly would cost too much to run a bba3 server right? lol, set a limit to 30 lol, 8 private slots, 22 public, iunno just an idea lmao

Man ...having the same problem....i was playing earlier...and now im getting kicked after every 3 min.

what kind of issues?........I had a jaymod server with 40 slots ...runnin the latest beta version

Thats great, anyways back on subject so we dont have 10,000 more posts of the same uselessness, as usual, PB does an update and it goes nuts shortly after kicking players continuously, some more than others, nothing new, nothing to see, move along and they will "eventually" get their master servers straightened out.

Not a problem, and dont mean to be short with you guys, but understand, patience wears thin when PB does this as it seems we get alot more "posters" then "readers"

not sure how it turned into a jaymod thing its a punkbuster thing i updated et to 2.6 or whatever i manually updated punkbuster and i still get booted after 5 minutes its so much fun really it is any help would be great i have vista the devil of all os

most people just dl the 2.6b patch and installed it, then they were able to play again without being kicked

Just about everyone that got the 2.6b patch bundle tonight on BBA1 had NO issues with PB. Those who didn't got punted left and right.

2.60b is not a traditional patch, its just a replacement set of executables. Get it, there's binaries for each platform (windows/mac/linux), and copy the binaries in the zip over the ones that installed with 2.60. That _should_ resolve the issue.

ive tried EVERYTHING thats been suggested, and nothing works, so until i figure something out, im not gonna be seen for long at the bba severs

with 2.60 version I have the o/s exception kick, with 2.60b the disallowed program/driver kick.

I removed pb folder from ET and reinstalled it with pbsetup, removed punkbuster services and reinstalled it with pbsvc, reboot computer after each change, no change, still kicked.

That turn me crazy.

I would say the major issue is evenbalances , the patch may patch some and work, but if these were all the fixes, it would work for all and not just some or most. Manually updating your PB probably wont do anything, but if installing 2.60b ( which I cant believe how many people dont have?? ) is helping, then its a worth a shot as its free and painless.

As per usual, I would expect an update to PB's update to really fix it.

*BBA #2 is running without PB for the time being for those who cant shake the PB blues.

I did the 2.60b patch and seems to have cleared up the issues with PB. If you havent done this patch try it, cant hurt.
