Buffalo Bad Asses

Hello people,

I played Quake Wars for a few years back in the day, got it on launch. Eventually the game player base went down and I switched to playing other games. I loaded it up again today and was delighted to find a populated server, but the server requires a password. How do I get a password for the server? Do you require a donation to get the password? I looked through the forums, but I can't find any information on getting the password so I could play with you guys.

Ditto. Felt nostalgic for this game. Haven't played it since 2011, kept waiting and waiting for it to come to steam but I guess it never will because of licensing issues. Imagine this on battlenet... lol. Can I haz password?

Unable to log into the game this evening. I was prompted to enter my password, and when entered, I receive a dialog box Error and a "cancelled" message.

Had a lot of trouble of late so we put a password on server.
All regular players and members are sorted now
But if your a new player or someone coming back to the game.
YOU WILL NEED TO SEND US A MESSAGE IN GAME TO GET PASSWORD.

Greetings BBA. Are we all still having the same problem logging on to the game? Like PeteMoss I thought it was my computer at first. Almost installed a back up of my drive to try and rectify. I'll post if I end up having any success so others will know.

I just checked the splash damage form page and looks like we are still down. Don't they know they are cutting into my Friday night fun?!

TEMPORARY SOLUTION TO AVOID ETQW WITHDRAWAL

It looks like the main verification server is down. I don't know if it's permanent or not.
Here's how I connected to the TAW server.
start ETQW
Instead of trying to connect, open the command console by hitting CTRL,ALT,~ (Tilde)
type in
connect 178.162.135.83:27735
a Dozen BBA'ers were there

Can we do the same to connect to the BBA server? I suspect all we need is the IP address no?

Hey Pete, I would think that's the case. I hope Sissy can give us that information soon. Moving on the TAW server feels like running through a wading pool
