Whoooooo! Great quality live video, M8! I like the far away shots that show the hippies, er, headbangers whipping their hair around. Usually don't see that because everyone is packed in there like sardines. :D
From today's LMB, the Cro Mags - Malfunction (love the vocals at 3:15)

And John Arch with Cheyenne Part 1 (Protest its metalness if you like, but he's the original singer for Fates Warning which is definitely metal, and I can distinctly hear some electric guitar in this epic song. )

BiBizz is BACK with some killa shiz!!! Missed ya, bud. Never heard of Misery Speaks, they're awesome!
So I was sitting in the club just now and "Lucky Star" from Madonna came on the radio, so I was all "Screw THIS!" And found this on YouTube seconds later.

I guess OMH is preoccupied with some other agendas - [possibly even with missus OMH]..
I was going to post a couple of songs that define the roots of metal..
>
Unfortunately there is alot of argument over what was the first and what
a metal song actually is. Some people even claiming that the Kinks originated the metal wave..
For instance I ask you is this metal or just great rock? >
either way I take a stage dive
Frank Zappa

Gentlemen, please forgive my absence! I have not been getting notifications from this thread!!
RE: Frank Zappa - From the first note, it was defined as metal. Is Frank Zappa's music any good? That is another debate for another time. Id' like to thank him though for warning me off eating the yellow snow.
As for The Kinks, WHATEVER! I thought the world had settled once and for all on Black Sabbath bringing the metal first and best.
Me and my sister got us some backstage passes to a private Def Leppard concert once. It was amazing! We met Downtown Julie Brown the MTV VJ. But when I went backstage to meet the band, they slammed a door in my face. I turned to the nearest person in the hall and was all WTF!! The guy touched his nose.
Oh The Agonist. Isn't she dreeeeamy????
And great new icon, Acid!!!
Bibi: So great to have you back! That Mastadon song is their best (that I've heard). And I may have actually slept with the bearded lady in that video back in the late 80's. Seriously.
So! I heard some good chit this morning on da scootah, and here it is!
Landmine Marathon - Crisscross Thoughts

King Diamond - The Jonah

Dammit, there are like no decent L'Espirit du Clan videos!! So I surfed around a bit and came up with this weirdness.
Mower - Road Rage
[And the mohawk guy goes, "YOOOOOOOW!!!!"]

Black Sabbath seems to be the first real metal band yes..
btw Frank Zappa rules man- Yes the music is good- maybe not a good example of metal but still get's my ear.
Got a little Frank Zappa shrine here!
Yeh need to be very drunk to take a door out..
>Def leppard used to have a huge world following that died just as quickly as it grew.. Perfect example of commercial metal of the late 80s.
Thought they deserved a post here.
Nice metal selection as usual OMH -
The vids aren't playing properly on my comp tho' >
I seem to have a major virus attack and I am quite limited in what I can do at this point. uff
but I'll be back..
Keep the metal alive and molten brother!
