ET Backgrounds For Your Android Phone

Post by OhMyHead » Tue Jun 08, 2010 3:54 am

I real quick put together a background for my HTC Incredible. While the actual display size of the Incredible is 480x800, the ideal size for these wallpapers is 960x800 as the background moves left and right when you swipe from screen to screen. I uploaded this to zedge.com, a big site full of free stuff for your cellphones. I'll post these here and there as I make them. Feel free to waste some free time doing the same!

EDIT: After setting this as my wallpaper, it seems I should keep the main subject of the wp (the ET logo in this case) to 400 px if I want the whole thing to appear on the home screen at once. Then just make sure the background of the wp stretches out to 960. Doh!

Will this download work on your phone? I have no idea. Try it and let us know.

Know of any sites that have reviews of all the Android OS apps available?

I wanted a note-taker, but sheesh, there are soo many!

or would Google Docs work ok?

Not yet, I am brand new to this stuff. I use Mobisle Notes. Does what I need, it's free, and it has a checklist feature as well as plain text. And you can back them up.

There's another I used that allows you to attach a photo to the note, but I didn't really need that. I just typed in "notes" into the Market search window on my phone and tried a bunch of them.

I keep hearing that AK Notepad isn't bad, but I haven't tried it. I have the HTC notes widget.
