One of my 10 roommates (yes, TEN) told me about some Juda Priest song I had never heard of. It's not bad, even if it is Halfordless.

This left me to rock out to much older JP that I love, and I saw that Slayer did a JP cover on South of Heaven called "Dissident Agressor" from JP's Sin After Sin. I can't recall if I knew that was a JP cover, but I then found myself all up in the Slayer. Soooooo....BLAM!

I'd look up (hed)P.E.-esque bands for you but I am late for yet another lame meeting. Go to http://www.last.fm, look up (hed)P.E., and if you hit their radio station, it will list/play music of a similar nature. I've found a couple of really good unknown (to me) bands that way.
