Favorite Scripts & Binds?

Hey folks,

I'm going to start testing out some scripts and binds that might be helpful in-game. On that note, I wanted to hear from you about ones you really, really like.

I never seen that line in your binds. I have another too. "give me sandwich and ammo"

Moved over to proper forum, the scripting described in the map forums is about adding or changing map settings. :yeah:

This is probably my favorite. Kind of a double edged sword though. Most of the time it works, but if FPS drops down to low, I can get stuck holding an amp needle and not able to switch to another weapon. Plus, if you are standing still or running, it continues that action until the script is through.

my favourite is my Weapon toggle bind. useful for those pesty rambos who wont die after a clip from and SMG.

set wt1 "weaponbank 3; set switch_wt vstr wt2;"
set wt2 "weaponbank 2 ; set switch_wt vstr wt1;"
set switch_wt "vstr wt1"
bind "MOUSE2" "vstr switch_wt"

this lets u quickly switch back and forth from primary to secondary weapon, with only one button. it also works if u just hit up on adren and you can press this button to switch to your primary weapon. i cant play without it now.

MOUSE2 is your right click so if you want it to be something else you can change it to anything not assigned yet.

you can either put that script in your autoexec.cfg, or make a new config.

Ex. in my autoexec.cfg i have a line that says : exec togglebind.cfg
and then in that .cfg i have the script above.

Well I don't exactly remember the green color name, if its just green then it would be like the one in the middle ( I just removed the odd named one and replaced it with green).

cyan tends to stand out much better then any other color for me. Just create an autoexec.cfg (basic text file) and copy this in there, then just throw it in your etmain folder and it should change itself, sometimes you have to do "/exec autoexec.cfg" in console though.
The only script I use other then a quick name changing one is for the command map.

that wont help anybody xcept when i get really pissed off pleaese dont use that :wtg:
