Eagles is fun for that, but Eagles never stays around long because of all the sniping.

I know one player named Thanny who is insane at sniping. I've seen guys go on a sniping only server and talk smack to him about their greatness then he proceeds to kill them over and over untill they disconnect. Of course, that's why the server was always empty... lol

yeah, the problem with a map being a sniper's heaven, is that it can be a countersniper's heaven too

on a BBA server I had an ultra kill while scoped, how many that is I don't have a clue (anyone know????). I don't really pay all that much attention to stats but I had 98kills the other day on fueldump I think (BBA server), can't remember how many times I died. When it comes to killing streaks, not sure as I tend to /kill alot to get ammo.

I've played against thanny I think as the name is familiar, but I've played against alot of snipers over the years. If I remember right he's ok. As far as the old ae sniper challenge, it's kinda misleading when it comes to judging talent. I don't play those servers much as its a waste of time.

I've had a decent spree on the Castle while scoped, but I don't quite remember the exact amount, but I usually don't go over 50 in sniper kills in one game, and if I do, its there.

I'd like to think I'm pretty good.

I regularly get monster/ultra kills with sniper rifle on Beach when I'm in the water shooting allies from behind. It takes a little luck with them being stationary and having their life being taken down a little by gunfire, but it's not unusual by any stretch of the imagination.

Monster kills with scoped K43 are quite easy on Castleattack if you're on the mountains. You just have to wait for your red/green bar to dissapear and then go for the head every time. It takes practice and a good ping but it's very dooable.

As for kills in a row(scoped), I think I had around 40 on Castleattack once and then total I had around 90 when the round was over.

Ultra-Kill is 5. Then Monster-Kill (6) and Ludacris-Kill (7)...

I dunno. When I first started playing this game, my buddy DM-SatchMaster and I would play on the Dead Milkmen (hence the DM) sniper-only maps. Sniper for hours on end. So I pretty much got any sniper-jonez out of my system during that time.

The one exception is when the server develops a case of "Sniper-Rash" and it's painfully obvious that the map's going nowhere.

I was there for that and I was stuck reviving them because they couldn't find you. They stood around the spawn looking for you. Amazing.

I haven't sniped since last November

I should since every map on gs is axis defending, which I like :)
Why do people call other people noobs, newbs, or nubs? If you're gonna insult someone, idiot works just fine =)

Sniper Only maps in RS/UO? You mean the no crossing mods in bunks? Those maps were for peeps who were scared of guys like me :D I specialized in sniper hunting/rushing PDW FTW. I used to love the Met map, made it easy for a guy like me to kill snipers and general campers. I also liked the idea of headshots being fatal 99% of the time, and wounds affecting performance. In ET though I try to stay away from sniping (Unless I want to smoke or drink coffee) because headshots dont work right IMO. But thats coming from an old RS player whose used to dropping peeps with 1 or 2 shots with a 9mm SMG at close/mid range. At longer ranges it took more shots because RSE did put in a nice mechanic that factored in velocity loss at distance for small caliber rounds. There was also body armor which made body shots about as effective as they are in ET, unless you used an assault rifle.
