G15 Keyboard - LINKS - INFO

Post by Zeus » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:12 pm

Just got a G15 for a present today and started tweaking it out, figured I would make a sticky to share some tips/profiles etc.

Post what you find or use with it. :wtg:

My favorite app for my g15 is LCD miscellany. http://www.g15mods.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1108
It displays all sorts of information regarding your compy. I also use the foobar 2k applet as it conveniently displays your music (especially helpful if you listen to music in game.) Although i'm not sure how many people use foobar as their music player (i heavily endorse it though) :wtg:

2 words. Mini lyrics.
I just downloaded it, and it works amazingly well. The lyrics to your music on your g15 lcd! so cool. I had to do some digging for the files, the official website was down, but if anyone is interested i can rar them up and upload them.

I found an updated version of G15 image on linked from wikipedia...

This I want, I'm only on G11 right now.

I got a question tho, can I make wolf:et binds on a G11? I checked both G15mods.com and G15forums.com, but didn't see anything yet.

Mine looks like a G15 without the screen for the most part.

I got the G15 on clearance from BB ( blue original one ), a friend liked it and ended up buying one but he got the new orange, he ended up taking it back.

I have the blue one as well, and i don't feel very inclined to upgrade to the orange. The blue looks better (in my opinion) and it has 3x the macros.

Yep, Newegg ftw.

The only ET applet in existance (uploaded it to filefront for you folks): ApplET

http://files.filefront.com/ApplETzip/;9 ... einfo.html

I don't use it, but if I remember, the main feature is a dyno timer. I myself use LCD Misc. because I like to see what my computer is up to while I'm playing. All the information is useful.

I also have a handful of macro binds. I use them for connecting to servers right from my desktop (e.g. rayban's connect method), execing different profiles, renaming, and other shortcuts.

Stumbled upon a G15 at a swap meet. Assuming it was busted somehow, I asked how much. "Ten bucks." SCORE! And it works perfectly. SCORE!

And here I find these helpful links. Thanks, guys! I was just using it as a regular keyboard only lighted. Finding this thread is like I got a new toy all over again.

Now...which one of these doohickey buttons improves my aim?
