It would be easy if i got a lyrics.
Caroline, so glad you like her! There are two CRASH movies and I am unfamiliar with the soundtracks of either of them. Which song in particular do you want lyrics for?
Digger wrote:Wow, your sister is beautiful and very talented. Her voice reminds me of Fiona Apple a bit, but definitely has her own unique style. Excellent stuff...thank you so much for sharing!

Edit: Just got done listening to the whole Dirty Child album on myspace...I like it!
Glad you liked it, Digger! She's been compared to Fiona as well as Nora Jones and others. She came pretty close to making it out there as Rosey, but things went awry at the record label and, well... Fingers crossed for Lal Meri. :wtg:

Here's an EPK for you Rosey fans from her jazz record she did a few years ago.

Alas, she does not. Lal Meri plays most of their shows in the Los Angeles area. Sorry. :(

Caroline, I just emailed her asking for the lyrics for that song. I'll post them here when I get them. :)

Sweet Love
Written by Nancy Kaye, Ireesh Lal, Carmen Rizzo

Will you come see me
I don't think that I could take it
If you should stay away for
Sure my heart you will break it

I just wanna find you
Just wanna kiss you and remind you
How much I love you

Oh sweet love, you made me crazy baby over you
Sweet love, blush face and my heart is racing like a fool
Sweet love, complacent, every day is like a jewel
Sweet love, it’s amazing what you’ve done to me baby

You another highway
Me another turnstile
You trail long the highways
I’m stuck her baby underground

I just wanna find you
Just wanna lick you and remind you
How much I love you

Oh sweet love, you made me crazy baby over you
Sweet love, blush face and my heart is racing like a fool
Sweet love, cant believe it, every day is like a jewel
Sweet love, it’s amazing what you’ve done to me baby

Such a long distance, such a long time
I’ll wait forever, I know that you’re mine…

That is one hell of a catchy tune. Why have I never heard of her before? She needs more UK marketing. I'll tell my wife and she'll tell her mates... Soon Gordon Brown will be using it for his election bid. You know how word spreads.

But seriously, class tune. I really like it. :wtg:

I am always happy to help create new fans. Gordon Brown, eh? Do we want him getting re-elected? If so, then I'm behind the music thing all the way.

From Rosey's "Dirty Child"

'Beautiful' written long before Aguilera's song writer heard this song being recorded in the studio and wrote her 'Beautiful'.

Nah, Gordon's useless, but so are the other candidates. Never mind, hopefully we'll get a hung parliament. Not the electoral result, let's just hang 'em...

That "Beautiful" is a classic. Nice tune. My missus keeps checking that I ain't checking out your sister... (*sings* "That's paranooooooooiiiiiiaaaaaaa.... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...")
