Joystick or Joypad in ETQW!

HI! The other day somone was asking about using a joystick for tormentor or anansi. Here is what you have to do.

In console input:

listControllers

This command will show your joystick and serial number. Copy that serial number...

then use that serial number with this command without the "<>"

seta in_joy1_device <serial_number>

restart the game...

and it's ready to use and asign.

To show all the cvars of joystick use this command.

listCVars *joy*

Thanks for your help on this issue. It has been bugging me for months. The only issue I have now is that my XY axis are reversed, meaning my x-axis is forward-backward and my y-axis left-right. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? And after fixing that, reconfiguring the joystick axis so that they imitate mouse-look instead of single keys?

EDIT: Never mind, I got it all working.

I'm with Him, I can't fly to save my life. My boy however picked it up very quickly and if on the other team, I tend to stay under cover...he uses KB and mouse with no problems

I've been flying for 2 years probably. And he's better than me already.

And I use KB and mouse. .. still.

Because i know when i am in them all the trees are magnified and the buildings all grow arms and swatt me down, but nah you guys all fly like a butter fly
