OMH what tools do you use for this to run fps test and also the map it self?

If possible, I load the map in single player (host game) with Jaymod loaded and the FPS showing on the screen (Jaymod menu). Then I run around and hit F11 (I think?) and grab screencaps of what I'd consider points of interest.
Then I close ET and open Paint Shop Pro 7 (any such graphics editor will do). I open the screenies I made, and do the following to them all:
1) Brighten them, they always seem too dark.
2) Sharpen them.
3) Put a thin black border around them.
4) If it is necessary to point something out in one of them, I put an arrow pointing to it on them.
5) Save and rename them to something more easily typed.
6) Upload them to wherever (Flickr, Photobucket, your own webspace, etc) and link to them here.
And that is all IF I am able to run the map in HOST GAME. Often times, the new map is not listed. Some list with Jaymod loaded, some only list when Jaymod is NOT loaded. And some, like The Arctic Guns, only list in Jaymod, but will not load, even though I only have one version of Jaymod on my machine. I assume it is the wrong version for the map, since it is the version BBA servers install on my machine. (I will be posting about this problem in the appropriate forum in a few mins)
Once you have created your vast and informational project and displayed it, prepare to have it be rejected. It has to be something pretty special to be approved. There are many many factors to be considered and BBA considers them all and votes Yay or Nay. If rejected, remember that this is no reflection on your hard work.
