Might be worth keeping an eye on over next few months and see if this game may pan out for future playing as clan based. Provided they allow self hosted servers.

Nice find Dax. Looks intriguing. If game plays looks like the video, it could be loads of fun!

It's all fun and games until the dog gets a nuke.

Seriously though.. damn this looks awesome. According to the FB page there's a release date for it listed on Steam?

My fear is the server side of things.... doesn't do any good if it doesn't alllow for servers to be created and maintained. I think the plus though is that it is being developed for the PC instead of a console LOL.

It looks pretty, but then so did the last ET, but I would need to see game play first.

Its using valves Source engine, so i cant see them screwing up the netcode to much in multiplayer (like they did in newest Wolf). Source is a winner for smooth multiplayer.

I don't know anything about that game yet.

But remember everybody, it's wise to not put all the eggs in one basket, Wolfenstein 2009 was a supposed-to-be dominant game that bit the dust.

I think what's best is find as many possible titles out there that are of interest, then later select 3 to 5 of the most-likely, then wait and review it for 1 to 2 weeks after release.

Looking good... may have to be an early adopter.
Brink, however, has given me a case of cold feet.

Meh, having biting and clawing as weapons is like playing ET with only knives and poison...

Nuclear Dawn is a pretty good team based game. i have over 60 hours logged into it and has a lot of re-playability to it.

There is a slight learning curve, but about the same as ET was when you first fired it up and learned what you are supposed to be doing, give it at least an hour of your time and i think a bunch of the ET community will agree this is a pretty decent game.

Was released at a bad time, up against the big names, BF3 / COD MW3 / Skrym, so the community is small due to no publicity, but I have only ran across great people like I did when i joined the ET community.

I HIGHLY recommend giving this game a try, it has a FREE-WEEKEND coming up from Dec. 1st through the 5th and has a 40% discount that weekend too off of the normal $19.95 price.

It uses the Source Engine, which pretty much any old computer can run nowdays.

Hope to see some of you on that weekend.
